The Backpackers.org idea resulted from the desire to have a space where people passionate about traveling and discovering this world, could unite, share their experiences, and learn from others. Backpackers.org was created in 2010 by two college buddies who share a passion for traveling around the world: Nhan and Rafael.

The information contained within this website comes from a variety of sources, but a vast majority comes from the many members of the Backpackers.org forum. If you see an error on any of the information contained within this website, please let us know and we will correct it immediately!

We constantly add new information to the website as well as do frequent updates to the existing content. We try to bring new and exciting features to the website every week, so stop by frequently to see whats new!
